Day 1: Arrival in Haikou

As soon as we landed at Haikou Meilan International Airport, we were greeted by the tropical warmth and the serene backdrop of lush greenery. Our first-day itinerary included exploring the city, immersing ourselves in the local culture, and relishing some of the best seafood that Haikou had to offer. We visited the famous Qilou Old Street, the historical Wugong Temple, and the bustling Haidian Island night market. The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the sumptuous seafood dinner at the Night Market – fresh crab, prawn, clams, and fish that were divine and mouth-watering.

Day 2: The Picturesque Yalong Bay

We started our second day early, with a scenic 90 minutes' drive to Yalong Bay, a crescent-shaped bay with crystal clear turquoise water and sandy beaches fringed by a verdant forest. We basked in the sun, swam in the pristine waters, and soaked up the serene surroundings, which made us forget about the hustle and bustle of city life. Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park was our next stop, where we could experience a 15-minute jungle canopy walk, and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Yalong Bay's coastline. We concluded the day with a healthy seafood feast at one of the restaurants beside the bay.

Day 3: Wuzhishan Nature Reserve and Nanshan Temple

It was time for some adventure, so we headed to Wuzhishan, a mountainous area that is part of the Hainan tropical rainforest. We took a cable car ride up to the peak of the mountain and enjoyed breathtaking views of the lush greenery, waterfalls, and clear streams that surrounded us. We then visited the 四川巴中男人可以嫁吗 Nanshan Temple, where we witnessed the grandeur of the Guanyin statue of the South China Sea, which was the tallest statue of its kind in the world. The temple was a serene place for reflection and introspection.

Day 4: Sanya City and Dadonghai Bay

We were excited as we drove to Sanya city, the southernmost point of China, which was famous for its beautiful coastline, tropical weather, and rich cultural heritage. We visited the Luhuitou Park, the iconic Phoenix Island, and the famous Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area, known for its unique rock formations and crystal clear waters. We spent the afternoon at Dadonghai Bay, where we indulged in some water sports and revelled in the panoramic ocean view. We ended our day with a scrumptious seafood dinner at a restaurant in Sanya's city center.

Day 5: The Charming 郑州城隍庙收费吗 Coconut Plantations and Departure

It was our last day in Hainan, and we decided to explore the charming coconut plantations that the Island was famous for. We met the friendly locals, who showed us how coconut oil was made and demonstrated the local crafts. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the picturesque fields and bought some local souvenirs to take back home. We returned to Haikou for a farewell lunch, feeling satisfied and delighted with our fulfilling five-day adventure in Hainan Island.
